




At the request of Ms. Avery, I've added some more cake photos.... Y'all caked out on the blogs yet?? :>)
I've never really considered myself a crafty person, but cake decorating is definitely a skill. It requires you to make things look good with just the use of frosting. There are no supports and it's all in the technique. I think that the basket weaving baffled people the most. Next in line on the list of puzzles is flowers: roses, rosebuds, sweetpeas, carnations, etc. I look forward to learning about fondant, gumpaste, and modeling chocolate.
